Goblin Masks

Sculpted by hand from air dry foam clay, painted with acrylic paint and wool roving was used to create the eyebrow/ear hair.

The masks had to be lightweight, easy to put on and not interfere with the microphones or sound. I used a plain mask as a base and sculpted the foam on top. After the initial drying period, I used plasti dip as a primer to help with elasticity and structure. The pieces were painted and I used needle felting techniques to create the eyebrows and ear hair.
